David has spent his entire career in nonprofits, starting with his involvement at the Boys & Girls Club early in his life. That work ignited a passion about making learning opportunities available to under represented communities.
David has worn many hats throughout the years and has had the opportunity to work with some of the region’s most treasured organizations, including OMSI, Friends of Zenger Farm, and FIRST robotics programs across Oregon. Most recently, David supported several nonprofits as a consultant while they scaled up or transitioned leadership. He’s excited to join the Trust and to be a part of a project that will connect Tribal communities and the wider public to Willamette Falls in an deep and engaging way.
David moved to Portland in 2006 from New England where he was born and raised. When not crunching numbers at the Trust, you can find him cooking delicious meals for his wife, playing in Pokémon tournaments with his son, or making sawdust in his woodshop.
